Tuesday night: PCN Statewide LIVE Call-In Program on State Issues, Property Tax Elimination

Thursday night: Town Hall Meeting in Cressona on Property Taxes

Tonight, I will be answering your questions and providing updates on state issues and priorities, particularly with regards to this November’s referendum question on property tax elimination, during PCN’s statewide LIVE Call-In Program.

Some of the items that will be addressed tonight include: funding for our state’s programs and services, jobs and economic development, both local and statewide, and the issue which always ranks #1 at any town hall meeting in the district which I represent: school property tax elimination.

The program begins at 7 p.m. on your local PCN channel, which can be found here.

Viewers who are interested in sharing their comments or questions are encouraged to participate by calling: 1-877-726-5001.

On Thursday, October 19, the Pennsylvania Taxpayers Cyber Coalition (PTCC) will hold a town hall meeting to discuss property taxes. The meeting will take place at the Good Will Hose Company in Cressona from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

During this event, the coalition will provide an in-depth review of property tax efforts that have failed in the past, the negative consequences we will face if school property taxes continue to rise, as well as the benefits of the complete elimination of school property taxes.
